Universal Music - Number 1's

Client

With a current market share of over 25%, Universal Music Group (UMG) is the largest business group and family of record labels in the recording industry.

Challenge

Featuring the most popular songs ever recorded, the Number 1's CDs are a collection of Number 1 hits from the biggest names in music. Univeral Music wanted to create a consumer site that reenforced the strong branding of the new collection's colorful die cut packaging. The required turnaround was less than three weeks.

Solution

Oskoui+Oskoui created the entire website in Flash with a colorful intro that clearly set the tone for the entire site. The opening of the CD packaging unfolded a vibrant introduction to this new collection. The user experience is well-branded with music samples from all of the available artists of the music collection.

Result

The award-winning Flash site is clearly branded. It gives the user clearly a quick overview of the entire collection with a lively and engaging interface.
